You Tube is certainly better than the output from the mainstream tv channels and has demystified the mystique of making programmes and film. It is not as difficult as was once made out and, like compter programming where programmers in the 70's and 80's made it sound so difficult (Using, for example, made-up words to make it sound complicated), most people with a little expertise can do it.
Well that's one point of view Ivan. I feel that the ability to string a few words together does not necessarily make a Shakespeare (also guilty of using made-up words) nor the ability to record a video on a phone make an Orson Wells or a Danny Boyle
I guess, Kevan, the point I am making, and I realise you have skin in this being an ex-maker of TV programmes, is that whereas 50 years ago the majority of people would have thought that they would never have been able to produce media content the fact is, in the technolgical world we now all live in (Perhaps not me as I am one of the few people in the first world that does not have a mobile phone!) most now can. Now, I am not saying that makes them an Orson Wells or a Steven Spielberg, in fact I did not say that, but they can and are able to produce entertaining content.
This aviation channel is my exact jam, THANK YOU.
Oh Iām so pleased ā enjoy!
Nah! This is brilliant!
